Competing with 13 countries and the USA, Southeastern Color wins the "Benny." In its 63rd year, the annual competition of the Printing Industries of America recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of superior print communications. It is the printing industry’s most prestigious and largest worldwide graphic arts competition.
The "Benny" was awarded to Southeastern Color for a 60-page catalog printed full color featuring an embossed foil stamped pearlized cover for the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business, Selig Center.
Southeastern Color competed with 2,800 entries in the worldwide competition.
Southeastern Color Wins Big in 2012 PIAG Competition - Georgia's “Best of Show” and 14 Best of Category
The Printing and Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) presented Southeastern Color Lithographers “Best of Show” and “Best of Category” awards for the printing of Western Distributor’s Catalog at the annual PIAG Celebration of Print held in the Twelve Hotel Ballroom in Atlanta on May 18, 2012. This is the highest honor for print excellence awarded by PIAG for outstanding achievements and quality. Henry O’Pry, President, and Sandy O’Pry, Vice-President, accepted the awards.
Additional awards to Southeastern Color were 14 “Best of Category” in the following categories: Calendars, Annual Reports, Magazine, Posters, Invitations, Greeting Cards, Educational Booklets, Brochures, Direct Mail, Product Catalogs, Newsletters, Portfolios, Fundraising Campaigns, and Annual Meeting Promotions.
